Apply First Aid HLTFA301B (formerly Senior First Aid)
This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance. This course was previously known as Senior First Aid, Workplace Level 2 or Level 2 qualification. This is the advised minimum requirement by Workplace Health & Safety Legislation for the workplace first aider.
Perform CPR HLTCPR201A
This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to provide CPR, until the arrival of medical or other assistance. This course is suitable for those students requiring workplace first aid skills and includes
- Respond to signs of an unconscious casualty – hazards, risk, approach, vital signs
- Perform CPR in line with Australian Resuscitation Council's Guidelines
- Communicate details of the incident
Family First Aid
This course describes the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance. This course is suitable for those students requiring first aid skills to suit a family environment.
Ananphylaxis Management
Course in First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis, is a short course designed to develop skills and knowledge to assist a casualty suffering a severe allergic reaction, by the administration of the casualty’s own adrenalin supply through a controlled dose injecting device, until the arrival of medical assistance. In addition the course develops skills in the recognition, management, prevention and risk minimisation strategies related to allergic reactions and anaphylaxis, providing the outcomes required to develop and implement a management plan to reduce the risk of severe reactions in individuals diagnosed with anaphylaxis.
This course is designed specifically for kids. It describes the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance. This course is suitable for kids aged 7-12years requiring first aid skills to suit a family environment. This course is delivered by instructors bearing a current Working with Children Certification.
This course deals with the provision of advanced first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance, and provision of support to other providers.
We are based in Warrnambool.
Training can be provided either in our comfortable training facility or onsite at customer venues.
